DNGV, a company specializing in gas engine control and automotive software, has been selected as the lead organization for a government-supported hydrogen engine research and development (R&D) project. The company will work to localize key components, including engine control units and ignition devices.

DNGV said it will focus on developing essential control systems and key components for hydrogen engines using domestic technology through the “Localization of Control Systems and Key Components for Hydrogen Engines” project, supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and other government agencies.
